Anna Elizabeth Pryor

Anna Elizabeth Pryor, 81 of Washington, died Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Washington Hospital. She was born December 29, 1934 in Southview, the daughter of the late Andrew Snedeker and Gladys Morrow Snedeker . Anna was a graduate of Hickory High School and worked at J.C. Penney’s in the credit department for 47 years . She attended North Buffalo Presbyterian Church and more recently East Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Anna was a member of the Buffalo Grange, Arms Club and the Women of the Loyal Order of Moose. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are a son, Dale K. Pryor of Washington; a sister, Mary Jane Engel of McDonald; two grandchildren, Ryan Pryor and Melissa Pryor; a special friend, Janet Rhodes. Deceased are two brothers, Clifford and Thomas Snedeker; a sister, Betty Sethman. Friends will be received Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Prospect Cemetery.
