Cynthia Lee Henderson Fowler, 67 of Washington, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at Kindred Care in Oakdale.
She was born July 20, 1948 in Washington, the daughter of the late Edward L. Henderson and Mildred B. Bunner Henderson.
Cynthia graduated from Trinity High School and then graduated from David Lipscomb University in Tennessee.
She worked as a substitute English teacher for the Trinity and Upper St. Clair School Districts. She later retired from the position of Desktop Publisher at Citizen’s Library.
Cynthia was a member of Church of Christ, where she taught Bible School and she also served at the Washington County Outreach Program.
She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
On December 27, 1971 she married Revis Scott Fowler, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Robert Shane Fowler of Washington; a daughter, Kristin (Ronald) Crawford of Washington; a brother, Mark (Rhonda) Henderson of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Alex, Aubry, Ashlyn, Addison and Alain.
Deceased in addition to her parents is a brother, Ed Henderson.
Friends will be received Thursday, January 7, 2016, from 2 to4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. A service will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of Christ on Allison Ave with David Deagel officiating. Burial is private.
