Joseph Fred Schneider

Joseph Fred Schneider, 59, of Washington, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015, in his home. He was born July 31, 1956, in Washington a son of Rose Munchie Schneider of Washington and the late James Schneider. A graduate of Trinity High School, Mr. Schneider worked as a mechanic at Westland Muffler in Westland. On March 5, 1988, he married Cindy Ann Thompson, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Patrick (Raelene) Henderson of Claysville; a daughter, Kelley Abbott (Daniel Ketzell) of Washington; a brother, James A. (Denise) Schneider of Washington; three grandchildren, Joey and Tyler Abbott and Hunter Henderson; an aunt, Dorothy Wenner of Delaware; several nieces and nephews including Jammie (Tony) Bruno of Brownsville and their children, Ray, Thomas and Jakob. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 4th. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
