Violet "Bobba" Pees

Violet “Bobba” E. Pees, 90 of Washington, died Monday, December 28, 2015 at Presbyterian Senior Care. She was born September 1, 1925 in Washington the daughter of the late Everett Main and Irene Pattison Main. Mrs. Pees worked at Marianna Mine as an equipment operator for 9 1/ 2 years and was the owner and operator of Violet’s Personal Care Home for 5 years. She was a formerly a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and crocheting, she won many ribbons at all the local fairs and taught a client how to crochet in her personal care home. On May 16, 1973 she married Dwight “Pappy” Pees, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Roxy Hampson of Belle Vernon; three nieces, Chantel Chambers, Brittnie Smith and Ashley Martin; a nephew James “Linda” Horner. Friends will be received Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Lois Swestyn officiating.
