Mary Aileen Fries

Mary Aileen Fries, 91, of Claysville, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in Hixenbaugh Personal Care Home, Claysville. She was born September 22, 1923, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Joseph O’Hara and Ann Ball O’Hara. Mrs. Fries was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards and bowling. She was a member of the Moose and was Catholic by faith. Her husband, Martin R. Fries, passed away on November 29, 1984. Surviving are two sons, Martin R. (Verna) Fries of Claysville and Donald Fries of Pittsburgh; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Diane Ernest; two brothers, Donald and Regis O’Hara; and cousin and best friend, Rose O’Brien. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., is handling arrangements.
