Iris Bradley Roup

Iris I. Bradley Roup, 89, of Washington, died on Friday, December 4, 2015, in Transitions Healthcare. She was born on January 10, 1926, in Washington, a daughter of the late Andrew Thomas and Hazel Laura Dunn Bradley. Iris attended Washington High School, and was a homemaker. On October 27, 1947, she married Charles J. Roup, Sr., who died on May 19, 1972. Surviving are a son, Charles J. (Sue) Roup, Jr., of Washington; two daughters, Deborah Marie (Joe) Helicke, and Barbara Ann Cavanaugh, both of Washington; six grandchildren, Jessica Huffman, Carrie Taylor, Charles Roup, Christopher Roup, Nicholas Cavanaugh, and Candie Harrison, and ten great grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Betty Jean Trussell, six brothers, Kenneth, Earl, Thomas David, Patrick, William and Robert, and five sisters, Dorothy Sprowls, Mildred Carey, Sarah Turk, Jean Schirosky and Peg Bradley. Friends will be received on Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2015. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
