Faye Foflygen

Faye Louise Reese Foflygen, 90, of West Finley, died Thursday, December 3, 2015, in Hawthorne Woods, Washington. She was born August 6, 1925, in West Finley, a daughter of Ross and Sylvia Sprowls Reese. Mrs. Foflygen graduated from Claysville High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed flower gardening, playing bingo, going to her camp, and the family farm where she grew up. Mrs. Foflygen was a member of Windy Gap Presbyterian Church and its Friendship Club. On April 11, 1947, she married Marion Richard Foflygen, who died September 18, 1994. Surviving are two sons, Robert (Sandy) Foflygen and James (Peggy) Foflygen, both of Washington; a grandson, Robert Daniel Foflygen of Washington; and a nephew, Clyde William Reese. Deceased are a daughter, Donna Louise Foflygen; and three brothers, Clyde, Wayne and Donald Reese. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., on Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 7th, with Rev. Ruth Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
