Harry James “Skip” Ellifritz, Sr., 67, of Washington, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015, in the Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born October 15, 1948, in Washington, a son of the late Frederick H. Ellifritz and Orpha B. Sprowls Ellifritz.
Mr. Ellifritz attended Trinity High School and worked as a mechanic at Birch’s Exxon. He loved anything to do with cars.
On April 23, 1966, he married Sandra Allen, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Charles J. (Jennett) Ellifritz, Sr., of Washington, Harry J. Ellifritz, Jr., of Indiana and Ronald D. (Bobbie) Ellifritz of Washington; his twin sister, Cora Jane Ellifritz of Washington; three grandchildren, Rebecca L. Ellifritz, Charles Ellifritz Jr. and Robert Ellifritz; and a great-grandchild, Aiden.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 5th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
