Mary Elizabeth Andrews

Mary Elizabeth Andrews, 90 of Washington, died Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Donnell House. She was born March 5, 1925 in Arden, the daughter of the late Calvin and Bertha Allen Dunfee. Mary was a member of Friendship Community Church and enjoyed flea markets, antiquing and spending time with her family. She was a private duty caregiver. On January 20, 1943 she married Lester S. “Sonny” Andrews, who died February 6, 1990. Surviving are a son, Kevin S. (Kim) Andrews of West Middletown; two daughters, Sheila Finley of Washington and Leslie (Bill) McConnell of Prosperity; eight grandchildren, Heather (Bob) Salensky, Janelle (Bruce) Stefan, Jessica Finley, Ryan (Tiffany) McConnell, Justin McConnell, Cody (Emily) McConnell, Tiffany (Ray) Mayfield, Amber (Donnie) Kearns; 10 great grandchildren; her companion, Dave Comfort. Deceased are 15 brothers and sisters. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating.
