Neal R. Wescott, 58, of Washington, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 23, 2015.
He was born February 19, 1957, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late James G. and Rose Marie Wescott of McMurray.
Mr. Wescott graduated from Peters Township High School and lived in the Washington area all of his life. He presently worked as a Whirlpool serviceman for Platinum Factory Service. He
worked for Sears A&E Factory Service for many years prior.
He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish Dutch Fork, Piedmont and especially Erie for walleye, crappies and perch with his best friends Eric, Andy and Andy’s late wife, Joy. A quote from a
friend while ice fishing - “If Neal is fishing in Pennsylvania waters - you might as well pack it up and fish in Ohio if you want to catch anything!”
Surviving are two daughters, Lauren (Stephen) Clarke and Lindsay Wescott; two grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew Clarke; two sisters, Barbara (Leonard) Rugiel and Martha Nagy; a brother, Michael (Rosie) Wescott; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his faithful companions Peaches and Molly.
Deceased in addition to his parents is a sister Nancy Jo Wescott.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. the time of service, Tuesday, December 1st, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
