Richard James Hryniewich, 67, of Washington, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation, Canonsburg.
He was born July 16, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late James and Helen Hryniewich.
Mr. Hryniewich served in the Army in Vietnam and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Combat Infantryman Badge.
He retired from Jessop Steel Company.
Surviving are three sons, Richard James Hryniewich Jr. of Virginia, Bryan Hryniewich of Canonsburg and Evan Hryniewich of Washington; two brothers, Andrew Hryniewich of Nevada and Mickey Hryniewich of Florida; and a sister, Vivian Voiner of Butler.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, from 12 to 1 p.m., the time of services, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
