Jerry Wayne Adams, 50, of Washington, went home to be with his Lord, on Saturday, October 31, 2015, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born February 12, 1965, in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Self-employed, Mr. Adams owned and operated JWA Home Improvement. He was involved with construction since he was 16 years old. Mr. Adams took great pride in his work and his siding and roofing application in the tri-state area because of his skill and the dedication he put into each job.
He loved to make people laugh and was an excellent storyteller. Often known as the “Buck Master,” he was an avid hunter and fisherman. His greatest pride, however, was his family.
He was Lutheran by faith.
On June 6, 1992, he married Karen E. Mosier, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Douglas Laird (Cherika) of Salem, Ohio; two daughters, Amy Laird (Paul) of Griffin, Georgia and Amanda Jo Adams (Justin) of Washington; two brothers, including Richard Adams (Jane) of Spraggs; two sisters; and three grandchildren, Abigail Laird, Ellie Laird and Antonio Macomber.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3 till 7 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Robert Grewe officiating.
