Kenneth J. Mounts, Jr.

Kenneth J. Mounts, Jr., 84, of Washington, died on Sunday, October 25, 2015, in St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana, PA. He was born on November 18, 1930, in Washington, a son of the late Kenneth J. and Margaret Hughes Mounts. A 1948 graduate of Washington High School, Mr. Mounts had worked as an engineer for Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Surviving are a son, Kenneth M. Mounts, of Olympia, WA; a daughter, Cathy L. (John C.) Swauger, of Indiana, PA; a brother, Richard L. (Karen) Mounts, of Allen, TX; a sister, Lois (John) Powell, of Eighty-Four; a friend, Catherine “Cassie” F. Mack, and his Siamese cat, KJ. Friends will be received on Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m., in William Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2015. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
