Stephanie Bozek, 92, of Washington, died on Saturday, October 24, 2015, in the Washington County Health Center.
She was born on June 28, 1923, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Josephine Stavovy, from Gorny, Poland.
Mrs. Bozek was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church.
Stephanie was the owner of Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio, in Washington, for forty-nine years. Her daughter, Janice Monroe, worked with her at the studio for thirty-eight years.
A very kind person, she enjoyed helping others in need. She had a warm, gentle spirit, always placing her strong faith first.
She loved music, played piano by ear, played guitar, enjoyed dancing, and loved animals.
Stephanie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are a son, Daniel Bozek, of Washington; a daughter, Janice Monroe, of Washington; a brother, Alexander Stavovy, of Springfield, VA; and a sister, Cecilia Saveikis, of Campbell, California.
Deceased is a brother, John Stavovy.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2015, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, with Father Thomas O’Neil as Celebrant.
Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray, PA., will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
