Sondra Lee Fletcher Caffrey, 79, of Washington, died Saturday, October 17, 2015, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born March 24, 1936, in Bristoria, a daughter of the late Adrian Fletcher and Gladys Anderson Fletcher.
A graduate of Washington High School, Ms. Caffrey was the executive director of Parents Anonymous in Washington County and a ticket teller at Regal Movie Theater in Washington Crown Center.
She was a member of the Arms Club and loved movies, music, dancing, playing cards, reading, and most importantly, her family.
Surviving are two sons, Mark (Lynn) Caffrey of Canonsburg and Shawn (Kathy) Caffrey of Washington; two brothers, Jerry (Norma) Fletcher of Washington and Jim (Dottie) Fletcher of Florida; and two granddaughters, Lee (Matthew) Burnsworth of Washington and Alexandra Caffrey of Florida.
Deceased are her second husband, Joseph DeRocco, and a sister, Diane Stanley.
A gathering of friends will be held from 5:30 till 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, October 21st, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 p.m., with Rev. Donald Herschell officiating.
The family requests that no flowers be sent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washington Senior Citizens Center, 69 West Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301.
