Mildred Hague Neal

Mildred Hague Neal, 83, of Washington, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in Donnell House, Washington, following a brief illness. She was born September 23, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of the late Cyril Hague and Catherine Pettit Hague. Mrs. Neal attended Washington High School and graduated from Trinity High School. She formerly managed the office of Ron Wiles Real Estate and had worked for the local American Cancer Society. In addition, for 10 years, she was the regional manager of 23 Ambassador Gold stores. When younger, she was an avid bowler. Mrs. Neal was a member of the Golden Triangle Chapter of Sweet Adelines as well as the founder of the Washington Chapter. She was formerly active in the March of Dimes, and, in her younger years, was active in local politics. Mrs. Neal was a life-long member of Fourth Presbyterian Church and a former member of Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are two sons, William G. Neal, III, (Debra) and Michael P. Neal (Sherrie), both of Washington; two daughters, Karen Sue “Suzie” Neal of Cadiz, Ohio and Stacey L. Eakin, her long-time caregiver, of Washington; five grandchildren, William G. “GW” Neal, IV, Sara E. (Matt) Geiger, Ricky A. Williams, Alecia Fincham and Courtney R. Crouch; six great-grandchildren, Hallie B., Emma G., Riley C. and Jensen P. Lyle, and Michael D. and Adison R. Geiger. Deceased are her former husband, William G. Neal, Jr.; a grandson, Ronald J. Lyle, III; son-in-law, Richard Eakin; and two brothers, Cyril P. Hague and Leonard W. Hague. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, October 10th, from Noon till 1:30 p.m., the time of service, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Donnell House, Hospice Care of Washington Health System, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
