Alice Virginia Lytton Kelley, 87 of Hickory, died Monday, September 14, 2015 at Transitions Care.
She was born July 21, 1928 in Washington the daughter of the late Lawrence Lytton and Virginia Wolf Lytton.
Alice was a homemaker and took in more than 20 foster children over the years.
She was a member of the Hickory Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
On March 23, 1946 she married Clyde William Kelley who died March 1, 2001.
Surviving are two sons, William (Melinda) Kelley of Hickory, Michael (Patricia) Kelley of Canonsburg; a daughter, Doris (Ronald) Leonhardt of New Wilmington; a brother, Mark Lytton of California; eleven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Carolyn Davidson; four sisters, Marian, Ada, Geraldine and JoAnn; and a brother, Ed Lytton.
Friends will be received Friday, September 18, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
