Ronald Ray Minor, Sr., 74, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015, in Greenery Specialty Care, Canonsburg.
He was born August 28, 1941, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Charles L. Minor and Lucille Snodgrass Minor.
Mr. Minor worked for eighteen years in the U.S. Steel Research Lab in Monroeville, and then was a self-employed over-the-road truck driver.
He was a member of Claysville Christian Church.
His wife, Joan Diane Leopold Minor, died November 2, 2007.
Surviving are three sons, Ronald R. Minor, Jr., (Jackie) of Monroeville, Richard Minor of Washington and Daniel Minor (Heidi) of Harrison City; a daughter, Deane Ann Minor of Washington; three sisters, Roberta Danley (Carl) of Washington, Kimberly Cecchiini (Nick) of Avella and Kristina Petritis of Washington; a grandchild, Kristin Brandt of Monroeville; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Jacqueline Elmore.
Friends will be received from 2 till 7 p.m., the time of service, Friday, September 4th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd.
