Amanda Lee Brunner, 33 of Washington, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the Washington Hospital, following a life long illness. She was born February 20, 1982 in Washington, the daughter of David “Red” Brunner and the late Gretchen A. Shultz Brunner. She was a graduate of Chartiers Houston High School. Amanda was a member of Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion #639 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed ceramics and doing crafts of all types, TY beanies, board games, shopping and spending time at the mall, watching movies, especially older ones. She loved sending cards and never missed a family members birthday or anniversary. Surviving in addition to her father are three brothers, Andrew (Nicole) Brunner of Hominy, OK, Randall Brunner of Bethel Park, Stanley Brunner of Washington; three sisters, Katrina (Robert) Schlichtkrull of Wexford, Samantha (Keith) Barron of Ray City, GA, Abigail (Edwardo) Lucero of LaMesa, CA; nine nieces and nephews, David, Michaela, Alina, Emilia, Gabriana, Elyssa, Lucas, Paige and Riley. Deceased is a sister, Edith Brunner. Friends will be received Monday, August 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 11th, in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, with Father Carmen D’Amico as celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. Those attending the funeral mass are to meet at the church.
