Maryada LaVaughn Rodgers, 93, of Washington, died on Friday, July 31, 2015, in the Washington County Health Center.
She was born on November 9, 1921, in Deemston, PA, a daughter of Louie P. and Georgia May Bradley Stilwell.
A homemaker, she was a member of Calvary Temple.
On March 30, 1961, she married Robert E. Rodgers, who died on March 17, 1980.
Surviving are four sons, Louie C. Statler, of Washington, Kenneth F. (Patricia) Statler, of Washington, Robert L. Rodgers, of Oregon, and Clarence W. Rodgers, of Denver, CO; three daughters, Joyce L. Bishop, of Canonsburg, and twins, Arlene Rodgers Bowles, of Charleroi, and Darlene Rodgers Robl, of Washington, fifteen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, William Statler, three brothers, Warren, William and George Stilwell; and six sisters, Violet DeWitt, Pearl Charlton, Ermina Hess, Sylvia Haught, Elizabeth Emmerson, and Blanche Haley.
Friends will be received on Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2015, with Pastor Robert Englert, Jr., officiating.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
