Richard Leroy Reihner, 87, of Washington, died July 24, 2015, in Asbury
Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born February 1, 1928, in Washington, a son of Edward Charles Reihner and Elizabeth Amon Reihner.
Mr. Reihner attended Washington High School and was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church.
Mr. Reihner served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps.
While living in Tucson, Arizona, Mr. Reihner was a warehouse manager for
UniSource Electric and Gas. He previously was a mechanic in various garages in the Washington area.
Mr. Reihner enjoyed tennis and golf when he was younger.
On April 18, 1946, he married Irene Lorraine Gray, who died March 31, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Richard (Georgia) Reihner; a daughter, Jean (Jack) Fleissner; four grandchildren, Jack (Heather) Fleissner, Joelle (Brian) Vaughn, Richard (Marcy) Reihner, Michelle (John) Wesling; a niece, Beatrice (Barry) Beabout; three nephews, James (Judy) Wheeler, Sam (Kay) Reihner and David (Patty) Reihner.
Deceased are a son, Henry Reihner; and Richard was the last of eleven brothers and sisters.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., August 3, 2015, in Fairhill Manor Christian Church. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery.
