Gary Walter Hulbert Sr.

Gary Walter Hulbert Sr., 71 of Washington, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born September 11, 1943 in Bainbridge, NY, the son of the late Walter Hulbert and Ruth E. Weeks Hulbert. He served in U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1966. Gary graduated from Deposit Central High School in Deposit, NY and was a self employed electrician and plumber. He attended North Buffalo Presbyterian Church and enjoyed golfing. On June 11, 2005 he married Shirley Sue Barr who survives. Also surviving are a son, Stephen (Nicole) Hulbert of Kennedy Township; three daughters, Michele Donley of North Huntington, Denise Hulbert of West Mifflin, Ruthi Hulbert of Washington; three brothers, Dale (Evie) Hulbert, Tom (Deb) Hulbert, Andrew (Kristine) Hulbert all of New York; three sisters, Patricia Halaquist, Sally Graham, Mary (Brad) Davis all of New York; two stepsons, Timothy (Holly) Stewart of Claysville and Brian (Kerry) Stewart of Washington; a stepdaughter, Jamie (Harry) Killen of Washington; twelve grandchildren, including, Tyler, Amanda, Matthew, Morgan, Kelsey, Dylan, Ella and Alexia; three great grandchildren, Hunter, Brayden and Jada. Deceased are a son, Gary W. Hulbert Jr.; a brother, William Hulbert. Friends will be received Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Monday, July 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
