Audrey Wolfe, 95, of Washington, died on July 10, 2015, in Presbyterian Senior Care.
She was born August 16, 1919, in Washington, a daughter of Leo Addison Wolfe and Helen Hallam Wolfe.
Audrey graduated from East Washington High School in 1936, and worked in the office at National Annealing Box.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was a former Sunday School class treasurer, and a 50-year member of Beta Sigma Phi Society.
Audrey was an avid reader and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. She had a beautiful voice and spent many years singing in a Barbershop Quartet. Participation and comradery in sorority activities brought her much joy. She was very talented with crafts and enjoyed creating homemade Christmas balls and later made the most beautiful creations using plastic canvas, which she shared with all. She was very devoted to her mother, Helen. Audrey was the most selfless person that her family knew and she brought joy to everyone that she met.
Surviving are a brother, Stanley Hallam Wolfe and his wife Elizabeth Dearnley Wolfe of Naples, Florida; a niece, Susan W. Lockhart and husband David M. Lockhart of Hillsborough, New Jersey; and a grand niece, Jennifer M. Lockhart, of Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 14th, from 10 till 11 a.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Keith Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
