Lois Jean "Jeani" Bruno

Lois “Jeani” Bruno, 80 of Washington, died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Washington Hospital. She was born September 15, 1934 in Washington, the daughter of the late Louis E. Heiner and Mary Tatusko Heiner. Jeani graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and worked for Bell Telephone before becoming a homemaker and was also a Licensed Practical Nurse later in life. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. Jeani was devoted to her family and enjoyed playing cards and gardening. In 1954 she married Joseph L. Bruno, who died in October of 1985. Surviving are two son, Michael J. (Patricia) Bruno of Millville, NJ and David (Kimberly) Bruno of West Alexander; a sister, Nancy Rieger of Washington; three grandchildren, David E. Bruno, Tony Bruno and Angie Warnick; eight great grandchildren, Olivia, Samantha and Andrew Bruno, Ray, Thomas and Jakob Bruno, Zander and Xavier Warnick; several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is a daughter, Kristi Lyn Bruno. Friends will be received Sunday, July 12, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Father William Feeney as celebrant. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
