James Wilbur Laird

James Wilbur Laird, 77, of Washington, died Monday, July 6, 2015, in Washington County Health Center. He was born December 28, 1937, in Washington, a son of the late John W. Laird and Catherine Solinger Laird. Mr. Laird was a social member of Core-Houston American Legion Post 907, Taylorstown. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching old movies. Surviving are two nieces, Dana Miller (Tom) and Paula Hartzog (Butch), both of Washington; a nephew, David Engle (Kerry) of Stow, Ohio; six great-nephews; one great-niece; 2 great-great nephews; and one great-great niece. Deceased are his sister, Gladys Engle, and her husband, David Engle. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or service. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
