Mariannina Policicchio

Mariannina Policicchio, 94 of Washington, died June 30, 2015, at Hawthorne Woods. She was in declining health the last several years. She was born August 6, 1920 in Casizntino, Province of Aquila, Italy, the daughter of the late Luiggi DiNatale and Anna Lolli DiNatale. In 1949 she came to the U.S. and worked in various places as a seamstress, including Victors at the Washington Mall. Mariannina was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the Victoria Lodge. In 1954, she married Frank Policicchio, who died in 2006. Surviving are many nieces and nephews in both the U.S. and Italy, including Dominick DiBernardi her primary caregiver. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are two brothers, Giuseppe and Beriardino DiNatale; four sisters, Rosaria DiBernardi, Maria DiNatale, Giovannia DiClemente and Antonina Scoyzone. Friends will be received Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Father William Feeney as celebrant. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
