Margaret Louise Thomas

Margaret Louise Thomas, 92, of Washington, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Washington Hospital. She was born February 25, 1923 in Burgettstown, the daughter of the late Emil Ranegar and Elizabeth Kertesz Ranegar. Margaret was a graduate of Chartiers Houston High School and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. Margaret loved to play cards, watch baseball and football and was a wonderful cook. On August 16, 1947 she married Homer Thomas who died in August of 1983. Surviving are a daughter, Margaret (Gary) Vitteck of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Jean Wojcuich of Palm Bay, FL, Elizabeth Shaddy of Etiwanda, CA; a long time companion, Joe Ross; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Deceased are four brothers, Emil Ranegar, Andrew Ranegar, Chuck Ranegar and Howard Ranegar. Friends will be received Monday, June 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where a blessing service will be held Tuesday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Thomas O’Neil officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
