Gladys Viola Miller, 96 of Washington, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Donnell House.
She was born April 7, 1919 in Buffalo Township the daughter of the late Andrew Noble and Ada Jane Elliott Noble.
Gladys was a homemaker and a wonderful mother.
She was a member of Taylorstown Presbyterian Church, where she was very involved and she enjoyed quilting.
On March 14, 1950 she married George Miller, who died July 24, 1979.
Surviving are two daughters, Janet Mankey of Washington and Viola Kroehler of Lima, OH; a daughter in-law, Barbara Noble; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are a son, William Noble; a stepson, Lloyd Miller; two sisters, Anna May Fordyce and Hazel Westfall; two brothers, James Noble and William Noble.
Friends will be received Sunday, June 21, 2015 from noon till 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Services will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jason Hefner officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens.
