Virginia June Reese

Virginia June Reese. 73, of Washington, died on Friday, June 5, 2015, in the Washington County Health Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born on February 18, 1942, in Washington, a daughter of the late James and Blanche Anderson Horner. A graduate of Washington High School, she had worked as a waitress in various places throughout Washington. Mrs. Reese enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, bingo, her cats and dogs, and especially her grandchildren. On August 3, 1974, she married Bill H. Reese, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert D. Pattison, of Washington, a daughter, Pamela (Earl) McGary, of Washington, a stepdaughter, Terri Cox, of Washington, two brothers, Daniel Horner, of Washington, and Walter Horner, of Muncie, IN, two sisters, Mary Stevens and Eileen “Dusty” Barker, both of Streetsboro, OH; six grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Morgan, Jacob, Mia, and Leah; and five great grandchildren, Kendra, Sevaun, Ledean, Cameron and Celayah. Deceased are three brothers, and two sisters. Friends will be received on Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
