William “Nobby” Mosier, 87, of Washington, died Saturday, May 23, 2015, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born May 19, 1928, in Washington.
A veteran of the Army, Mr. Mosier worked for the City of Washington’s Street Department.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church and American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.
His wife, Anna Claire Mosier, whom he married on October 31, 1975, died on April 9, 2011.
Surviving are several sons and daughters, including Rose Cornell of Greensburg; several grandchildren, including Cassandra Fitzgerald of Washington; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased are three brothers and one sister.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, from 10 till 11 a.m., the time of service, in First Lutheran Church, with Rev. Robert Grewe officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded graveside by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175. Following the committal service, a luncheon will be served in the social room of First Lutheran Church, 92 West Walnut Street, Washington.
