Daniel Paul Smith

Word has been received of the passing of Daniel Paul Smith on Friday, May 8, 2015, who was born March 19, 1938 in Ohio County, WV. He most recently resided in Nashville, TN. He was the son of Thelma Dean and J. O. Curtis Smith of Elm Rd in Avella, who preceeded him in death along with two other brothers, Curtis Gerald Smith and James Howard Smith. Surviving are three daughters, Sarah Beth Smith of Durham, NC, Julia Ann Spicer of Lagne, TN, Katie Delgada of Clarksville, IN; a brother, David George Smith of Avella; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at West Alexander Cemetery, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
