George T. Frame, Sr., 88, of Washington, died on Saturday, May 9, 2015, in Transitions Health Care.
He was born on June 19, 1926, in Canonsburg, a son of George and Martha Burgan Frame.
A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Frame served from June 26, 1944, until his honorable discharge, on June 2, 1946, as a Motor Machinist Mate Second Class.
For his service, he was awarded the Pacific Theater Ribbon, the American Theater Ribbon, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon, and the World War II Victory Medal.
Mr. Frame worked as a tobacco vendor.
George enjoyed golf, his dog Molly, eating and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On December 19, 1948, he married Pauline Spudich, who died on December 13, 1988.
Surviving is a son, Jeffrey M. (Marcy) Frame, of Washington; a daughter, Darlene (David) Stotka, of Washington; a daughter-in-law, Karen Frame; five grandchildren, Nicole Lynn (Robert) Zappi, Joshua Frame, Jessie (Ray) Moore, Ashely (Joel) Hurbanek, and Brittany Stotka; and many great grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, George T. Frame, Jr., a grandson, Jeremy Frame, a great grandchild, Ashley Frame, and all his brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, with Rev. Todd Semple officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
