Robert R. Reedy

Robert R. Reedy, 68 of Washington, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at home. He was born October 13, 1946 in Washington the son of the late William A. Reedy and Carmella Luchese Reedy. Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corp., during the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Service Metal, Vietnamese Service Metal, Vietnamese Campaign Metal and the Presidential Unit Citation. He worked for E.R. Shaw Small Arms Manufacturing as a CNC Lathe Operator. Robert enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles and camping. He will be missed by his mini-dachshund ‘Bandit”. Surviving are a son, Robert W. D. (Joyce) Reedy of Washington; a daughter Carmella (Jason) Reedy of Steubenville, OH; five brothers, William Reedy of MI, James (Patricia) Reedy of Bentleyville, Jerry (Gloria) Reedy of Warren, MI, Steve (Lucy) Reedy of Houston, Richard Reedy of Eighty-Four; three sisters, Carolyn Miller of Eighty-Four, Bonnie Reedy of Baltimore, MD, Deborah Clark of Washington; four grandchildren, Danielle, Gabriella, Shawn and Zachary; many nieces and nephews. Deceased are three sisters, Linda S. Dewalt, Sandra Reedy, Betty Jean Reedy Vennum. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
