Wilma Jane Bishop

Wilma Jane Bishop, 90 of McMurray, formerly of Canton Township, died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Manor Care, following a lengthy illness. She was born March 25, 1925 in Blaine Township the daughter of the late Stephan A. Johnson and Hazel P. Woodruff Johnson. She worked at Washington Hospital as a nurse’s aide and was a member of Friendship Community Church. Wilma enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and quilting. On December 22, 1967, she married Benjamin Bishop who died October 13, 2006. Surviving are a son, Charles (Shirley) Kelley of New Iberia, LA; a step son, James B. Bishop of Pittsburgh; a step daughter, Janice B. Augastine of Bridgeville; five grandchildren, Sherry, Brenda, Patricia, Christine and Michele; several step grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a daughter, Betty Pierson; brothers and sisters and her first husband, Sam Kelley Friends will be received Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Wednesday, May 6 th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow at Claysville Cemetery.
