James "Hedge" Steuernagel

James Michael “Hedge” Steuernagel, 53, of Washington, died April 18, 2015, in the Washington Hospital, following a two-year illness. He was born August 28, 1961, in Washington, a son of the late Antoinette Calabro. Mr. Steuernagel attended Trinity High School and worked as a horse trainer. He loved horses and enjoyed detailing cars. Mr. Steuernagel was Christian by faith. Surviving are two daughters, Melissa Moeller (Cliff) and Carlie Steuernagel, both of Washington; three brothers, Wilfred, John and David; four sisters, Mary, Sue, Mickie and Kathy; and two grandchildren, Preston and Miyah. Deceased are two sisters, Patty Cloud and Kathleen Steuernagel. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or service.
