William Thomas Hibbert Jr., 57 of Washington, died unexpectedly, Sunday, March 15, 2015 at home.
He was born February 22, 1958 in Washington, the son of Nancy Wagner Jones of Washington and the late William Thomas Hibbert Sr.
He graduated from Trinity High School in 1976 and attended Washington Institute of Technology for two years.
William was a draftsman for 35 years, working for Caterpillar and other mining equipment companies.
He enjoyed hiking and camping and was an avid guitarist. He was active in Native American Gatherings.
On April 26, 1980 he married Kathleen Walton, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Douglas (Rebecca) Walton of Washington, James Eric Hibbert of Washington; a brother, Thomas Hibbert of Canonsburg; two sisters, Rhonda L. Eustis of Houston, Sharon K. Hibbert of Corte Madera, CA; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and his stepfather, Ben T. Jones of Washington.
Friends will be received Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Thursday, March 19th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. George Garancosky officiating. Burial is private.
