Larry Reid Lykins, 75, of Washington, died Friday, March 13, 2015, in Washington Hospital.
He was born February 14, 1940, in Scottsburg, Ind., a son of the late Harry R. Lykins and Vivian Louden.
Mr. Lykins was the founder and owner of Twin State Home Builders Inc.
He was a member of Moose Lodge 22 and the Pulaski Club.
Mr. Lykins was an expert woodworker, avid gun collector and loved to work on old cars.
On November 24, 1964, he married Marie Tost, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Larry R. Lykins Jr. and Michael Scott Lykins, both of Monterey, Calif.; two daughters, Sarah Lopez of Monterey and Kathleen Marie Hartzell of West Finley; two brothers, Carl (Edith) Louden, Indianapolis, Ind., and Melvin (Jean) Louden of Greenwood, Ind.; a sister, Norma (Ernie) of Stewart of Kingman, Ariz.; a grandchild, Marina Claire Hartzell; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Helen Marie Johnson.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, March 18, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial is private.
