Terry Lynn Southern

Terry Lynn Southern, 60 of Washington, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, following a 3-week illness. She was born July 5, 1954 in Washington, the daughter of the late Harold “Sam” Clair Riggle and Geraldine Jane Ullom Riggle. Terry was a homemaker and a member of Chartiers Cross Roads Presbyterian Church. She was a country music fan and a NASCAR fan (especially Tony Stewart #14). She enjoyed the County Fair, collecting, the outdoors, camping, and picnics. She loved her family and her grandchildren. On November 15, 1974 she married James A. Southern Jr. who survives. Also surviving are a son, Richard (Amy) Southern; a daughter, Juanita (Jimmy) Southern-Loar of Washington; three brothers, Harold “Rusty” (LuAnn) Riggle Jr., Danny Berry, Charlie Berry all of Washington; three sisters, Doris Hanning of Reading, Susan (Bobby) Hall of Washington, Roseann (Dan) Adams of Indianapolis, IN, three grandchildren, Zachary Southern, Jessica Southern and Julia Loar; mother in law, Marjorie Southern; father in law, James Southern Sr.; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Washington Cemetery with Rev. Scott Bunting officiating. William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., is handling arrangements.
