Debra Louise Byrd

Debra Louise Byrd, 58, of Washington, died on Thursday, March 12, 2015, in the Washington Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1956, in Washington, a daughter of the late Arthur and Florabell Firby Hay. Mrs. Byrd graduated from Washington High School, and was a member of New Life Tabernacle Church. She had worked as a baker at Sam’s Club. On November 8, 1976, she married Henry Byrd, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Henry (Suzanne) Byrd, Jr., and Jimmy (Wendy) Byrd, both of Washington; a brother, Arthur (Sally) Hay, Jr., of Washington; two sisters, Martha (Butch) Shuman, and Darlene (Russell) Byrd, both of Washington; and five grandchildren, Audrey Varner, Rayna Byrd, Lexi Byrd, Draven Byrd, and Athena Byrd. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services.
