Marius TreVaughn Chatman, 24, of Washington, died unexpectedly, on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
He was born on May 9, 1990, in Washington, a son of Marcus Chatman and Tamarra Ratley, of Washington.
A graduate of Washington High School, he was a self-employed musician.
Marius enjoyed music, especially rap music, and writing songs. An online gamer, he enjoyed playing video games, and spending time with his family.
He was Muslim by faith.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his companion, Danielle, a son, Jovani Joseph Chatman, of Imperial, two brothers, Jordan Drew, and Marcus Chatman, Jr., both of Washington; two sisters, Shyla and Treyvonna Hoberek, both of Washington; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and was expecting the arrival of his baby girl.
Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
