Ruth Ann Cameron, 84 of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at her home.
She was born February 19, 1931 in Washington the daughter of the late Charles King and Mable Murphy King.
Ruth graduated from Washington High School and worked as an operator for Bell Telephone and at RCA as a administrative assistant for many years.
She was a member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church and a former 50 year member of Third United Presbyterian Church.
She was an avid baker and loved spending time with her great grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling and was in the Washington County Bowling Hall of Fame.
On August 26, 1972 she married William Cyrus Cameron, who died November 16, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Rae Lynn (Tom) McWilliams of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Bill (Katie) McWilliams of Canonsburg and Cayce McWilliams of Canonsburg; five great grandchildren, Molly, Grace, Madison, Isla, Melaynie; two nieces, Sandi (Bob) Carman and Sue (Ernie) Donaldson.
Deceased is a sister Virginia Knapp.
Friends will be received Friday, February 27, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd, 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Saturday February 28th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Don Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
