Peggy Ruth Hutchison

Peggy Ruth Hutchison, 83, of Washington, died on Saturday, February 21, 2015, in the Washington Hospital. She had been in declining health for a year. She was born on February 13, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Ruth Boswell. A 1949 graduate of Washington High School, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Washington. Mrs. Hutchinson had worked as a legal secretary for various attorneys and judges. She had been a volunteer at the Washington Hospital for several years. She loved her cats, Muffy and Sydney Grace, as well as her church family, who also loved her. In 1957, she married Virgil Hutchison, who is deceased. Surviving are a brother, James B. Boswell, of Greensburg; a brother-in-law, Clark Hutchison of Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Deceased are a brother, Robert Boswell, and a niece, Elizabeth Hershey. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 26, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m., the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 295 Allison Ave., Washington, with the Rev. Dr. L. Stephen Smith, Jr., officiating.
