Donna Lucille Wightman

Donna Lucille Wightman, 97 of Washington, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Transitions Healthcare. She was born December 27, 1917 in Colby, Kansas, the daughter of the late Charles B. Bainer and Zona Breese Bainer. Donna was a 1935 graduate of Washington High School and was a beautician. She was a bowler up until her early nineties, bowling twice a week with several leagues. Donna was a member of First Christian Church. On September 14, 1935 she married John J. Wightman, who died December 31, 1993. Surviving are her friends and caretakers, Rodney and Pam Maze; several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, John I. Bainer. There will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Washington Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
