Clarence L. Miller, 70 of Washington, died Monday, January 19, 2015 at home, following a four-year illness.
He was born February 7, 1944 in Washington the son of Marjorie King Miller of Hickory and the late Okey Miller.
Clarence graduated from McGuffey High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was employed at Jessop Steel/ Allegheny Ludlum for 30 years.
He was protestant by faith and enjoyed helping others. He loved his family and his dogs, Abby and Blizzard.
On June 1, 1985 he married Nina Williams who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Jody (Barbara) Lee Miller of Washington; two daughters, Doni Justine Miller of Washington and Crystal (Fred) Dawn Hayes of Washington; a brother, Eugene “Butch” Fenton of Washington; a sister, Marlene “Kay” Grose of Hickory; eight grandchildren, Ashlee, Roger, Ryan, Alyssa, Brittany Jo, Andrew, Freddy and Peyton; nine great grandchildren.
Deceased is a granddaughter, Amber.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
