Karen Marie Kraeer, 64, of Washington, died Sunday, January 11, 2015, in the Washington Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 11, 1950, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Matthew R. Badali and Lillian Grosklos Badali.
Mrs. Kraeer was a graduate of Keystone Oaks High School and the Median School. She worked as a medical assistant for area doctors for 15 years.
Mrs. Kraeer was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and enjoyed arts, crafts and sewing.
On December 15, 1973, she married Richard L. Kraeer, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Donald L. Kraeer of Washington; a brother, Matthew A. Badali (Sharon) of Waynesburg; two sisters, Cynthia Werner (William) of St. Mary’s and Linda Warner (William) of Franklin; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday, January 15th, from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Father John Bauer officiating. Burial will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 2:30 p.m.
