Ruth Zediker Cooper

Ruth Zediker Cooper, 98 of Finleyville, formerly of Eighty Four, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Mon Valley Hospital. She was born August 18, 1916 in Eighty-Four, the daughter of the late Robert Zediker and Elva Wilson Zediker. She was the owner and operator of the American Truck Stop in Bentleyville. Ruth was a member of Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star in Washington. On April 7, 1942 she married Thomas A. Cooper who died February 14, 2011. Surviving are a son, David A. (Barbara) Cooper of Bentleyville; six grandchildren, Kimberly Cooper, Jennifer Drew, Shawn Cooper, Keith Cooper, Wendy Cooper and Kirk Cooper; seven great grandchildren. Deceased is a son Robert Cooper; a sister Jane Reihner and a grandson, Robert Cooper. Friends will be received Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, with Rev. Eric Powell officiating. Burial will be private.
