Ruth Zediker Cooper, 98 of Finleyville, formerly of Eighty Four, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Mon Valley Hospital.
She was born August 18, 1916 in Eighty-Four, the daughter of the late Robert Zediker and Elva Wilson Zediker.
She was the owner and operator of the American Truck Stop in Bentleyville.
Ruth was a member of Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star in Washington.
On April 7, 1942 she married Thomas A. Cooper who died February 14, 2011.
Surviving are a son, David A. (Barbara) Cooper of Bentleyville; six grandchildren, Kimberly Cooper, Jennifer Drew, Shawn Cooper, Keith Cooper, Wendy Cooper and Kirk Cooper; seven great grandchildren.
Deceased is a son Robert Cooper; a sister Jane Reihner and a grandson, Robert Cooper.
Friends will be received Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, with Rev. Eric Powell officiating. Burial will be private.
