Sean Michael Demnyan

Sean Michael Demnyan, 45, of New Stanton, formerly of Muse, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 17, 2014, in Excela Health - Westmoreland Hospital. He was born August 21, 1969, in Washington, a son of George T. Demnyan of Muse and the late Karen “Lynn” Gergosky Demnyan. Mr. Demnyan was a 1987 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, where he had been a member of the wrestling team. He worked as a nurses’ aid at Canonsburg Hospital. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, cooking, baking and spending time with his pets. In addition, he enjoyed traveling, especially to Williamsburg, Virginia. Mr. Demnyan was a member of St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg, and Polish National Union 116. Surviving are three sons, George Demnyan of Muse, Jake Demnyan of Canonsburg and Jack Demnyan of Pittsburgh; the mother of his children, Natalie Szafraniec Demnyan; and Christine Gazzo, with whom he made his home for the past year. Deceased, in addition to his mother, is his grandmother, Dorothy Gergosky. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 23rd, with the deceased’s son, Deacon Jack Demnyan, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
