Susan Ann Howell

Susan Ann Howell, 72, of Washington, died Monday, October 6, 2014, in Washington Hospital. She was born February 2, 1942, in Washington, a daughter of George Scott Grimes and Hazel Ellen Hillberry Grimes. Mrs. Howell was a 1960 graduate of Washington High School. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family and enjoyed traveling, shopping, and time spent with her friends, sons and granddaughters. Mrs. Howell was a member of Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, Steven Michael Howell (Lisa) of South Carolina and Bryan Sean Howell of Washington; three grandchildren, Bryanne Alexis Howell, Lauren Ashley Howell and Lindsey Nicole Howell; and three nephews, Robert S. (Sue) Sensky, Eric (Jackie) Sensky and Kory (Elizabeth) Sensky. Deceased are a son, Scott Howell; a sister, Rebecca Sensky; and a nephew, Brad Sensky. Friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 10th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
