Arina “Irene Mrenak, 67, of Washington, died Monday, July 15, 2013 in the Donnell House.
She was born September 25, 1945 in Bertha Mine, the daughter of, Michael Daske and Helen Hoberek Daske who are deceased.
Irene was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her two pets, Dixie and ChiChi, and collecting birds of all types having felt real birds to be the only species that could touch the face of Jesus. Her CB handle was “Village Queen” for which she was well known.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Delinda) Mrenak of Avella, David Mrenak of Washington; two daughters, Victoria (Gary) Crouser of Washington, Josephine (Mark) Harden of Washington; a brother, Michael Daske of WV; a sister Kathryn (Chuck) Wright of Burgettstown; thirteen grandchildren, Brandie Mrenak, Melissa Splitt, Joseph Masi, Ryan Yoders, Michael Mranek, Cara Mranek, David Frankie White, Jacob Mrenak, Nicholas Mrenak, James, Gary Jr., Kenneth, and Christopher Crouser; thirteen great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Braiden Africa, Ariel Makinson, Isabella and Gabriella Splitt, Paige Randolph, Jayden and Maddix Hawk, Tina and Seren Masi, Landon Fries, Lily and Garrett Crouser.
Deceased are three sisters, Mary, and Anna “Annie” Daske and Dorothy Hart.
