Adam Thomas Molinaro, 38, of Washington, died on Friday, February 1, 2013, in UPMC – Presbyterian Hospital, following a month-long illness. He was born on February 9, 1974, in Washington, a son of Thomas William and Nancy Lawrence Molinaro. A 1992 graduate of Trinity High School, he also graduated from Virginia Tech in 1996. Mr. Molinaro worked as a teacher at the elementary and Junior High School level in Henrico County, Virginia. He had also worked for several years as a store manager at Barnes and Noble Book Stores. An avid reader and a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Mr. Molinaro enjoyed music and golf, and loved to go to the beach. He also loved all animals and children. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Grant Thomas Molinaro, of Washington; many special friends, including, John and Rose Lesnock, Carole and Bob Harvey, David and Joann Dietz, Doug and Kim Trbovich, and Mike and Debbie Veltri; many special aunts, uncles and cousins, including a very special aunt, Annie Miller. Deceased are a brother, Jason Thomas Molinaro, his paternal grandparents, Thomas “Tinker” Miller Molinaro and Anne McCahill Molinaro; and maternal grandparents, Bernie and Maggie Hatfield Lawrence. Friends will be received on Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 810 River Ave., Suite 140 Pittsburgh, PA 15212; or the American Heart Association, Four Gateway Center, 444 Liberty Avenue, Ste. 1300, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
